While I found the story to be good, I was not a fan of the writing. I’m all for authors using words to help me expand my vocabulary but there were just too many big words that weren’t necessary and that immediately makes me dislike books. I like stories that are told simply because it makes them easier to enjoy and that’s all I’m looking for in a book.
