these books are some of my all time favorites and i cannot wait to continue this series. the characters we follow, Pepper and Lovey (Sidra) were so strong and delved into in such an honorable way to their backgrounds and current experiences. Pepper and Owl’s storyline was so heartbreaking yet beautiful. Sidra finding her place after being so completely disoriented was phenomenal. the representation for just about every type of person is done so beautifully and Chambers creates masterful connections and has really important conversations throughout. absolutely love these books
