I went into Before the Coffee Gets Cold expecting some profound statement piece, but I think I am just as satisfied with what I got instead. It’s quaint and I truly did enjoy each of the characters and how their stories were intertwined—I was worried it would be 4 entirely separate stories. It’s a quick, simple read that just leaves you with a good feeling.
