This was a sweet and lovely read. There is such a huge story contained in only 185 pages; I'm still marveling at the authors ability to describe without describing. I felt that the author trusted me as a reader to take their seemingly sparse descriptions and create a vivid scene in my head--and I did. The coastlines, the people were all fully formed in my mind. There was just enough. Just enough of everything. It was like eating the perfect bite of something, thinking that while it would be nice to have more you are in fact completely satisfied.  That is true for the whole book. I would have liked for the story to go on, but it ended with just enough.
