I love Maddox! What a wonderful guy!

In some ways this is both a slowest-of-slow-burns as well as an insta-love because these two have known each other forever, but weren't ready to cross the line. Until they were. And then they Crossed. The. Line. Wow!

I love all the other characters in this world. Banks is awesome - can't wait for his book!! Foxx is definitely going to have an awesome story - there's something behind that broodiness, you just know it. I suspect even Sara and Rebecca would be great main characters because there are a lot of layers there too.

Spoiler But - in the event that Ms. Locke reads these reviews - what is the reason for spending the whole book setting us up to just know - KNOW there was something up with Rebecca and then to find out that it was Cord?! What is the reason?? I swear you were just writing this wonderful, sweet, love story and were suddenly overcome with the need to make folks cry a little! I mean, it's heart-warming to know he is loved long after he is gone. But - tissue please! (This is why readers have trust issues no matter how much you love your favorite authors! lol)
