Book Description:
Welcome to the city of Pravitia.

Home to the wicked, depraved, and perverse. Built upon the urges of our deviant desires, and our twisted cravings. Every soul fated to this damned city worships at our altars.

Puppets to our fatalistic whims.

Six bloodlines, devoted to our darkest proclivities, destined to rule the city in our image, and in our name. Six families bound to us in exchange for absolute dominion and glory.

But even gods have favorites and the time has come to usher in a new epoch.

Mercy Crùvecoeur and Wolfgang Vainglory have always been enemies, fueled by centuries-old family quarrels. Their hatred runs deep and if we didn’t prohibit it; they’d have already attempted to kill one another.

But as much as they want to fight it, even the powerful can’t escape fate.

While they both believe the city of Pravitia is their birthright and will go to great lengths to gain control, their arrogance and thirst for power will lead them directly on the path of our choosing.

To claim their rightful place as rulers of Pravitia, they will need to become a unified team.

But what happens when the lines between hate and obsession begin to blur? And to satiate their lustful desires a divine law must be broken.

Is this dangerous hunger worth each other’s demise?

And when will they realize that they have been our puppets all along?

Quote:
“And who should we fear the most then? The gods?” I ask irritatingly as I cross my arms. The question is rhetorical. Wolfgang’s face turns serious, allowing the tension to coil dangerously around us before he speaks. “Each other.”

BWBH Review:
Wolfgang and Mercy have been carrying on their family feud since birth. The two families could barely coexist with one another. When it comes time to select the new leader of Pravitia, fate has a funny sense of humor, forcing the pair to co-rule over their city. They might kill each other before they get a chance at the throne.

Mercy and Wolfgang are so morally grey and I love it. This isn’t your classic “villain gets the girl” situation. The villains get who they deserve - each other. While they are the worst kind of people, you can’t help but fall for Wolfgang's charms and Mercy’s power.

A Dance Macabre is perfect for readers who enjoy morally pitch-black villains, a powerful FMC with an attitude, and an MMC who loves his woman almost as much as he loves himself.

Thank you to Naomi Loud and Good Girls PR for the ARC.
