The Chaos of Standing Still by Jessica Brody

4.0

I initially read the first chapter of this book online, was hooked and needed to know more, only to have the book sit for a while waiting to be read. I stumbled across this when scrolling through my library, and immediately started reading. I really enjoyed reading The Chaos of Standing Still, and so much happens within the pages it's hard to believe it's just one night in an airport, where the characters are stuck waiting for the snow storm to stop and flights to leave again. Ryn was someone who I instantly liked, I loved her attitude, her constant need to ask google questions, and best of all her blame list. But I also felt sorry for her loss and her guilt at surviving and how she lives her life with these feelings. I enjoyed reading about the adventures and high jinx that Ryn and Xander get up to, from subway surfing, to made up names, and parties. This was another book that I fell into head first and didn't stop till I'd finished.
