This is my favourite Francesca Lia Block book. The first time I read it, I was actually left quite confused as I didn't really grasp what had happened. The way the book is written, I sometimes couldn't tell whose POV I was reading. Or maybe I just read it too quickly the first time, who knows..
In any case, I'm so glad I decided to reread it because it actually became one of my favourite books.
I really like the writing style. It made the story seem quite whimsical and a little haunting. As written on the back of the book, it's a coming-of-age story about a girl called Echo. She goes through so much in her life and the ending really touched my heart.
