Story was going well, a solid 4 ⭐️ book, but then the end. They said it was murder. Said she would get arrested and go to trial. It was self defense. She was abducted, by a guy who already kidnapped, and almost killed her, once before. It was most definitely self defense. No law official would arrest her, let alone a prosecutor put her on trial. It might be more believable if they weren’t law enforcement, but they were, and that made it 10x worse. Sex was good, not plentiful, but it wasn’t an erotica. Definitely more plot focused. Their relationship was sweet. I’m glad Tallon finally got his head out of his butt. His attitude toward Tinley sucked at first. I do wish we had gotten to see more of their happily ever after.
