I read this series sooo out of order but it's fine. First off, I wanna say...when I saw the series title Ballsy Boys, I thought it was gonna be about basketball. IT'S NOT.

It was a fun, low angst read with spice. I really enjoyed Rebel's character. He just seemed like a really passionate and understanding guy. He was really patient with Troy. Even when Rebel realized he wanted more when Troy wasn't ready for it.

There was honestly less spice than expected but I'm not mad at all. The main plot in the book is that Troy has commitment issues due to his experiences. At times, it was kind of annoying to have him immediately bolt. Like that was so hair trigger.
A compliment on a non sexual part? That's too much commitment.
Then to immediately jump into acceptance once that hurdle was passed. Maybe it's a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation and I'm being nit picky. However, I feel like there's a possibility of a happy medium.

Still though, I really enjoyed these characters. I think the main attraction of the book for me is the the two of them slowly getting closer. Everything else is just a cheery on top.
