This is so much more than I anticipated. Clever storytelling and worldbuilding with stunning art. My first Kieron Gillen book was a 1* experience, and my second only garnered 2* so perhaps my expectations were lowered, but I really enjoyed the unique mix of familiarity and novelty within RPG storytelling. I would come back for more. This is my first read of the 2020 Hugo nominated graphic works, but has real chance at getting my vote.
