Coming across an old letter, while going through her recently deceased grandmother's items, Ivy Dell learns about a place she was named after. The mystery of this place calls to her more than her mother could understand, and with a snap decision, packs up her life and goes on a cross country trek to find out more about her grandmother, a woman named Petra, and the place that she was named after.
This is a short book, aka novella, and while we get brief glimpses of other characters, the main focus is on Ivy and her budding relationship with Jensen Stinger. I have a feeling that we will learn more about the backstories of the other characters throughout future novella's.
Spice: 2/5
MF
Triggers: None, unless you count the alluding of death via car accident.
