one thing i love about the supers is how good they are. they’re overpowered beings who can destroy worlds and move stars, and yet they choose kindness and hope above all. supergirl is a whole mess and a half—she’s not like clark who did grow up as the midwestern sweetheart. she drinks and swears a lot in front of a pre-teen and hurts a lot of people and comes out bloody most of the time. yet, her kindness and devotion to the beings around the universe makes her supergirl, not just her powers.
