I had read this as an ARC in 2021 and had wanted to do a reread for ages. The pace is fast, the tension is high, and the suspense had me on the edge of my seat, even though I knew how it ended. I enjoyed the different perspectives, especially Bill’s & Jo’s.
When I read this, I thought that it read like a move, and that thought was reinforce with listening to the audiobook. I do think that the reasoning behind the terrorists actions were weak, and I found the ending to be too Hollywood perfect, but this is a gripping high-stakes read that I enjoyed.
The narration by Steven Weber was fantastic.
