Although I understand that this man is fictional and originated from the thoughts of a woman, the content in this book deeply bothers me because it is absolutely not okay with the things Killian does, such as sexual assault.
I 100% believe you are responsible for what you consume, and I knowingly put myself through reading something I knew I wouldn't enjoy (which is dark romance).
However, the dark romance genre is very concerning in my opinion and should cause a reflection within yourself as to why you enjoy this genre?Again, this is not meant to judge or shame; I genuinely want to understand the appeal.
I was convinced by a friend that it gets better, so I will persist. I hope this is the worst book in the series because I have friends in real life who have experienced sexual violence, they could be trigered and I'll recommend they steer clear of this book!
