**mild spoilers** This was definitely an interesting book. Age gap but the fmc isn't 18 for once! She is a fully grown adult which I LOVE to see in an age-gap. The conflict in this book was understandable but bordered on the miscommunication trope. I enjoyed Jaxon's groveling at the end and I loved that he built her a house. Overall a sweet read but check your CW since cancer is a main plot line.
