Yall, don't be like me and go into this book blind. Read and heed the TWs - they are there for a reason. The topics covered are heavy and include:
- Infant and Child Loss
- Extreme mental illness/psychosis
- Forced captivity
- Forced/coerced pregnancy
...to name a few.

That being said...HOLY FU€K did this book give me the mind-f of the 2025 so far. I had NO clue this book was heading to this plot twist. I audibly had my flabbers ghasted and my husband immediately knew by my position change that the book threw me for a loop.

Because of the TWs and the situation the MMC puts the FMC in, the spice might become a turn off for some. However, if you can push that aside, there is a scene with a mirror involved that I was not expecting to do some things to me. 🥵🤌

The author's connection to mental health and child loss bleed into the pages of this book. She writes those topics in with such care and sensitivity that honestly pulled my heartstrings at many points in the book.

Definitely worth picking up this book and supporting this Indie author!
