Drop Shot by Harlan Coben

4.0

We enjoyed the funny, snarky Myron Bolitar in this second book just as much as the first. This installment focuses on the world of tennis. Myron has a hotshot young client, Duane Richwood, who is expected to do very well in the U.S. Open. Valerie Simpson, a washed-up tennis star looking to make a comeback, ends up murdered at the Open and Duane is a suspect. Myron, along with Win and Esperanza, starts investigating the case, uncovering all sorts of troubling secrets. These books are very entertaining, and Marosz does a great job with the narration.
