Fables, Vol. 19: Snow White by Bill Willingham

4.0

I actually enjoyed the first half of the story about Bufkin and Lily, even though it was a total cop-out that so many events were just hinted and briefly touched on. It's sorta what I've come to expect from the Fables team, to be honest.

The second half, focusing on Snow White and Fabletown's latest baddie, actually seemed duller. I do like the Snow White and Rose Red interactions since it feels like they haven't had good scenes since the early volumes, but the main duel feels so hollow in light of what they've all gone through with Mr. Dark. C'mon! This current enemy is a pansy compared to the horror that you just went through.
