Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald - The Original Screenplay by J.K. Rowling

5.0

I had very high hopes for this one and I was not at all disappointed. After loving the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Screenplay and giving it a full 5 stars, I had a feeling that this one would be rewarded the same.

I saw the Fantastic Beasts the Crimes of Grindelwald film in cinemas when it first came out, which I loved, which also was a factor in this five star review, as it is exactly the same. I've developed some deep rooted love for screenplay's and script's over the past few years and I am really, really looking forward to reading the next three instalments in this franchise, as well as see them, that is.

Seeing as I saw the film in November and have only read the screenplay five months later, I have been able to remember things about the story that I have forgotten, which also happened with Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Even though I absolutely adored the movie, I know for a fact that I will be able to remember the story a lot better now that I have read it, and in a new format that I love, too.

I still think that both FBAWTFT and FBTCOG are a lot better than that one that was released in 2016, what was it called again? I'm still so confused about what actually happened for all 343 pages. Ah, yes, that's it, The Cursed Child. Okay, it wasn't THAT bad but still, it was really confusing. I liked the concept and had high hopes but no, it was just an anomaly in the magical universe. (Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, okay, don't attack me!)

Following on from TCC, both of these screenplays have been absolutely phenomenal and I am still so in love!

P.S. I think I might re-read TCC to see if my opinion has changed because that happens a LOT with me.
