This is a quick (both well paced and short) read. I read it on a medium long flight and it’s good plane reading. I think it’s trying to make interesting points about the true crime “craze” but it misses the mark a bit. I also think it doesn’t deliver on the suspect of the first chapter. If you pick it up in the airport bookstore, so you have something for a flight, you’ll enjoy it. If you’re picking it off your shelf of other options, it might sit for a while.
