The summer break chapter is refreshing (and chaotic, as always) ✨✨✨ We get to see the boys working hard (read: making a mess–except for Mori and Kyouya) to get the chance to sleep at the pension where Haruhi works during the summer break. Hikaru ends up scoring a solo date with Haruhi thanks to Kaoru’s schemes, and we get to see them working on their friendship. It’s obvious that Hikaru is more hot-headed and childish compared to Kaoru, and the way the twins are trying to make their world bigger should be acknowledged, though the journey is still far.

The chapter with Nekozawa being trained to be in the light for the sake of his sister is absolutely hilarious though 😂 I’m loving that the host club members are wearing police uniforms this time (wish there were more on that 💗) and Tamaki going spartan-mode towards Nekozawa and Nekozawa actually trying his best to get his sister’s heart. In the end he reverts back to his dark mode, which is quite a shame, but good for him I guess!

And I love the bonus chapter of Mori at the end 💕 the way Mori turns out to be more talkative (and more romantic?) when he’s sleepy? I’m swooning 🩷🩷 It was so funny seeing the host club freaking out over his change of attitude though.
