I See Life Through Rosé-Colored Glasses: True Stories and Confessions
by Lisa Scottoline, Francesca Serritella
This review is dedicated to Ruby. Corgis are my favorite, and she was my favorite out of all of Lisa Scottoline's dogs. Yes - I have a favorite. I have read a handful of Lisa and Francesca's compilation books and feel as though I am unofficially a member of their family. I laughed along with Lisa's stories of aging and coming to terms with it. I nodded along with stories of Francesca's break-ups. I enjoyed the stories about all of the animals. I teared up when Mother Mary passed away. And now Ruby? Tugging my heartstrings!
I highly recommend this book, and the series as a whole, for all fans of Lisa Scottoline's books, for all moms (both single and betrothed) and for anyone who enjoys reading small snippets of the life of a mom and daughter with their lives intertwined in a way that I hope I can achieve with my daughter.
I received this e-book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
