Long Road to Mercy by David Baldacci

3.0

Typical David Baldacci book where it starts out great and then turns into a convoluted conclusion. It’s a shame, especially since the first chapter was absolutely amazing. I thought we were going to have a book where Agent Atlee Pine would be going after a serial killer that she suspects murdered her twin sister, Mercy, when they were 6 years old. Instead the story detours on a road a long way off from Mercy dealing with dead mules, nuclear bombs, and Russia. I guess a future book will involve her sister since that plot line was interesting. Until then, this series is a waste of time. On a positive note, Orlagh Cassidy doesn’t do the audiobook (yay!!!).
