This concept was soooooo cool but in my opinion largely wasted on this story because it was so metaphysical and theoretical. “Modern motherhood is neutered and sanitized” is a great quote from this book, but the plot progression of this book is exactly that. I wish there was a real plot with a climax or something instead of everything just being chalked up to an art piece. This would’ve ate as a short story but it was just way too long and drawn out.
