Absolutely loved The Bone Collector. This book, not as much. Still the great characters, still the interesting twists and turns (I guess maybe The Bone Collector had more of those), and I still think this is an awesome series and Jeffrey Deaver is one heck of a writer. As with any series, some books will be better than others and I think that's the case for me here. Having said that, I'm still looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
