Glengarry Glen Ross by David Mamet
3.0
Glengarry Glen Ross is much better staged than read. The play is only dialogue with no stage direction and does a great job of showing how terrible sales jobs can be. Reading the lines can be a bit of a chore as the characters frequently pause and interrupt each other. Interestingly, the play doesn't have the famous Alec Baldwin scene from the film which is one of the highlights of the movie. I enjoyed the play but the twist ending, and drama felt a bit lacking when not viewed.
