Day Zero by C. Robert Cargill

4.0

Should've been studying for my exams which are in a week, but instead spent hours reading this.

Goes to show how much I liked it. Excited to pick up his other book (definitely after the exams) which I know is set some 30 years after this one. Can't wait to see what the world has come to after exploding in this one.

Day Zero was action-packed, wholesome when it wanted to be, a little philosophical, and an overall great apocalypse book. Maybe the end was a bit too superheroesque with Pounce slaying all of them and not dying when all the others did but I'm morbid and unless one of the good guys die I feel incomplete.
