Did not like the book. I love the BDB series and was intrigued thinking this book runs along the same idea maybe but where there are warriors and it is about vampires who "save" humans from evil vampires? that is about the extent of it. I thought it was a very slow read with nothing to connect me to any of the characters. I do not think I will read the rest of the series.
