Whoever said this was a romance book for Disney adults was absolutely right.

This was worse than a lot of the contemporary romances I've read. The male character was toxic with no redeeming qualities. She treats her like crap, and we are supposed to fall in love with him? I get the whole "cold billionaire vibes", but he was honestly mean to her for 1/3 of the book. He also didn't feel dynamic, but instead like an unfeeling robot.

Also, he had the emotional maturity of a hamster. I NEVER condone that a woman or partner should be the one to "fix" a man or show him the "way" to happiness. It makes for an awful dynamic in the relationship and a setup for failure.

This really only got two stars because it was fast-paced and legible.
