I wish I could bottle the feeling of reading this book. Is this book perfect? No, definitely not. Then why am I giving it a perfect score? Well this book revived my love for reading. It has been a while since finding a book which makes me want to read it at all times and not let go until I have finished it. The feeling of not being able to concentrate on work or even want to get on my phone because I NEED to know what comes next is indescribable.

The only thing I would change is

the last few chapters revealing Xaden has been in love with Vi since he first saw her. I think this just plays into the “love at first sight” trope, which does not do justice to the story. It would have been so much better to show him slowly fall for her despite their history.

Also Liam’s death devastated me just as much as it did Vi. He was such a good character and the readers were robbed of his development.

Don’t forget to read the bonus chapters, but after finishing the book. There are spoilers!!
