This, I imagine, is supposed to be an irreverent, feminist take on some of history’s most powerful, intelligent, dangerous, etc. women, but I just did not enjoy the author’s voice and attempted narratives. It was neither purely factual, nor pop history, but a weird mix that I did not vibe with.
