Oh my gosh!!! Book 2 of the Mom-com series. It was another success!! The calmness that is Dylan is so refreshing, her balance in her group of friends! She is the glue I feel, and when she blurts what she is thinking. Yes!! 100 percent. I wanna be like Dylan! Her personality is gold. She is so laid back, kind and go with the flow. The one-liner about Shay's smoothies, and her cooking is comical. It had me laughing. I want to say part of the tropes for this book could even be insta love. The attraction that Cortney has and vice versa with Dylan is so swoony and sweet. Soul level deep attraction. Cortney is a character that is also so easy-going and chill, yet he is this little... well, big bottle of anxiety. Dylan soothes him and centers him in a way I dont feel he has ever experienced. He truly is an exceptional character! Cortney just accepts her, and that in itself brings me such happiness. I honestly can not praise this book enough. I need to read this and fall in love with these characters. The easiness between the two I adore this type of writing, the comedy and antics (pranks!) Are so hilarious. I wanted to throttle Beckett! (I forgave him don't worry!) But I wanted to smack him upside the head. LOL. Whatever you do, do not Google fish spider.
Honestly, this book is something extremely special! I also feel this series is going to be a sensation across the book world! -This statement is still true! Mother Maker is just as special as Mother Faker! This series will be a sensation! I am in love with them.
