While this one is just as soap-opera-ish as the previous book, thankfully it wasn't AS ridiculous. Very soap-ish though. Babies being born, miscommunications, rape, pirates, hangings, survival, Indians, ghosts, more time traveling (of course), devious plots. Honestly, I don't see how this is any different than some of the anime I watch. I guess that's why I like this series. It's very much like my "stories". :) Anyway, time to read other books. Phew! These books take me a long time to get through!
