Nekogahara: Stray Cat Samurai, Volume 1 by Hiroyuki Takei
3.0
Interesting premise but maybe the translation I read is what made it a little bit disjointed for me.
It's like ruroni kenshin, but if he was a cat, and also addicted to catnip and hallucinating.
The art is pretty neat and it's a good set-up for the world building, but at times the saturation of the dark ink made it very difficult to read the expressions on the cats' faces. I really had to study at times to figure out who was talking and what they were feeling, which is a shame because the artist put a lot of effort into making the cats expressive.
