iā€™m giving this a 3/5, because it took such a long time for anything to happen and when it did it definitely was creepy but it was pretty much at the end of the book. it was a fun set up, but the bickering twins were horrible, and i honestly thought slappy was meant to be the ~bad guy! ā£

it reminded me of monster blood in a way, in that most of the book seemed to be about kids arguing and conflict and nothing actually eerie happening.ā£

we listened to this on another brisbane trip, nova (6) is obsessed with listening to goosebumps books but wanted me to turn it off when it started getting creepy šŸ¤” i did not turn it off - kid needed closure!  ā£
