Oof. Just oof. A very thoughtful piece that…well, I feel like would mean different things to different people. It’s very much one of those novels that make you stop and ponder. It’s brutal and a little out of date in its ideologies, but it was set in the 1950s, so you can’t blame it. I feel bad for everyone involved. And, for a little bit of hinting, you can rename this book ‘David’s Closet’ and understand what this is going to be about.
