Marry Me, Duke by Dee Harper Lewis

4.0

*Thank you to Dee Harper Lewis for a copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

I instantly fell in love with Guinevere. Her grit and tenacity to go after what she wants is admirable although definitely unconventional! I love Hugh and Guinevere together. She takes care of him, and he comes to respect her. Dee beautifully described the characters and houses. I want to visit! I thought this book had great character development, and I loved the addition of the air of mystery. I would say that I had it kind of figured out, but I was still guessing about who was all involved when it was finally revealed. I wish we could have seen more of Hugh warming to the idea of marrying Guinevere. I would love to know more of Hugh's thoughts at the beginning, but overall a well-written book and a lovely story.
