The Red Badge of Courage by Stephen Crane
4.0
At first, my beginning in reading this book, I was not so intrigued. I must say that it does begin slow, but after a while, getting into his mind and the situation of war, is quite interesting. Too many times I attempted to rush through given that it is not a book of extreme length. It must be read slowly and carefully, the literary devices used, along with the depth of 'reading into the mind'. A worthwhile read for sure, but not for everyone.
