That was really good! Beautifully written, absolutely horrifying, an incredibly intriguing mystery that had me making lists of clues with little lines like a detective’s board trying to connect the pieces! Even with all of that, the twists at the end still had me reeling!
A couple minor complaints: the book built up so much a sense of mistrust that the closure delivered at the end felt almost trite… I liked what was being said, but I had trouble believing it until the book was pretty much finished lmao Other bits were spoon-fed in a way that I felt was unnecessary, but it didn’t happen often enough to be annoying; for the most part it was well-constructed and a super fun read!
Note: This was PERFECT for Summerween!
