I loved that it was an HBCU and magical. 

There were a lot of moving parts to this book and a lot of characters. I really enjoyed Maggie’s character and I can’t wait to see her truly tap into powers. Souxie surprised me with how easy she became. Asha character was getting on my last nerve maybe once she steps into her true self I will see the true baddie. 

Am I hoping for a true love story with Namir and Maggie ummmm yeah lol for now. 

Quan was a trip lol but everyone needs an honest friend who looks out for you. The party, the doors, the acceptance of becoming, the tapping into their own energies was so amazing to me.
