The author reached out to me and asked me to read and review her book.
I didn't hate this book but it's also not one I would recommend to many people, or re-read. This was mainly down to the plot and the type of novel it was. I don't reach much romance now-a-days and it's even more rare for me to read books about teenagers.
However, the plot was definitely imaginative and fresh - I've never heard of a book set in a midnight amusement park before. It was a quick and easy read and was available to me through Kindle unlimited.
While I appreciate some of the descriptions, I did feel like some of the characters were lacking in substance and would have been happy to have had more about them to make it all feel a bit more real. Additionally, the time frame kept throwing me a little bit but overall it didn't impact the main plot.
