I know an author of one really successful franchise and nothing much else over a decade ago now releasing prequels reaks of cashgrab but trust me this is SO worth it and absolutely adds to the original story. But also, so sad omg, get ready for a big emotional rollercoaster. Ending is ROUGH, even though you already have a pretty good idea of what’s coming from the original trilogy.
