Ahh, it feels like an eternity ago that I read this, but I still remember it clearly. It really does stay with you, as it's a gripping plot with detailed drawings at the start of every chapter.
The characters are all unique and believeable, the writing style is very descriptive, and most importantly, it's FUN to read, and exciting.
Yes, it is aimed at younger readers ideally, but it's still a pretty damn good book. So just give it a try? You might dislike it, everyone's tastes are different. But surely you won't be able to critiscize it. It's just too cool.
