Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man by Emmanuel Acho

This book can provide a good foundation. The audiobook is only about four and a half hours, and that’s with listening to the extra interview at the end. I tend to listen to audiobooks on 1.5x speed so I finished in one afternoon.

If you’ve studied the topic at all, and are familiar with terms/concepts like systemic racism or white privilege, it will likely be rudimentary for you. That’s why I avoided rating it, as I’m not a good judge of what it’s like to hear the information for the first time. I personally thought it seemed digestible for an open minded and willing to learn white person.
