The Gift of Therapy: An Open Letter to a New Generation of Therapists and Their Patients
by Nicola Ferguson, Irvin D. Yalom
Bite sized easy to digest chapters (many of which can be condensed into more concise single chapters, but that’s neither here nor there); there are some valuable tidbits scattered throughout, though I fear they are far and few between many that boil down to common sense, namely: be a decent human with a reasonable amount of empathy and/or emotional intelligence. (And also just some strange, hopefully outdated, advice).
