Esther the Wonder Pig: Changing the World One Heart at a Time by Caprice Crane, Steve Jenkins, Derek Walter

After following Esther (and her dad's) since the beginning, it was wonderful to be able to read the book to get even more insight and a lot of laughs.

Esther is a commercial size farm pig, who was presented as a micro pig in need of a home. As she grew, and cemented her place in her family, she brought about change to every aspect of their lives.

Refreshing and inviting, Steve writes very much like he is talking to an old friend, and I felt carried along this journey and laughing until my sides hurt, all while also feeling myself open up to the many questions being asked, and how I myself felt about their journey and my own, in sharing my life with my own animals.
