Okay, this was my guilty pleasure book, I loved it so much! I understand that most find it absolutely cringe but I just didn’t see it as I completely adored the characters in this book!
Penny is a cliché; she is clumsy, has freckles and red curly hair that somehow she’s insecure about (?) and shy. But I totally related with her as her responses to certain things in the book would have been the same as mine!
Elliot, another cliché (the gay best friend), was so great and I love love loved him! He’s so smart and funny and confident!
And Noah. I remembered that when I first read Girl Online, I loved Noah but that was about it. I didn’t remember that he has gorgeous cheekbones, messy dark hair and wears black t-shirts & ripped jeans??? I LOVED HIM SO MUCH! He was so kind and sweet and asked the best questions and I adored him.
One thing I didn’t like was how Penny was so quick to assume the worst and how she immediately thought Elliot sabotaged her relationship with Noah?? Her best friend?? !
This book was a whole damn cliché but I gobbled it all up with happiness.
