Coming to the end of my re-read ahead of picking up Think Again and this is definitely my least favourite of the bunch. This final original instalment picks up with Ellie still utterly obsessed with Russell who shows himself to be a real piece of work in this book; meanwhile the friendship that has propelled the series gets pulled at the seams and does make me wonder what could be keeping Nadine, Magda and Ellie together given they barely seem to like each other at times. The ending felt both overly neat and very frustrating - I'm hopefully that Think Again will take us back to a little more charm and relatability than this.
