This book was amazing! I was wanting a really good fantasy read for ages but kept finding duds or ones that just didn't work. But this was incredible!
There was so much history and background, and I ended up loving so many of the characters. The plot and type of fantasy was so original with diverse characters!
Two things that I struggled with (which was what made 4.5 instead of 5).
1. The age - I was hoping because it was at college we wouldn't end up with a 16 Year Old MC but nope, Bree is so young.
2. The world building - there was a lot of info dumping which made some of it hard to follow. The Scions and Squire etc. and all the characters got a bit jumbled for me.
